CLASSES & COACHING

I teach improv, clowning, and dramatic improv through Crossroads Comedy. Since 2009, I've coached and directed dozens of Philadelphia's most prolific improv ensembles. Let me support your group anywhere along your journey, whether you're just starting as a pickup practice group or honing your house team's main stage show.

CORPORATE

Philadelphia Inquirer interview with Nick about Applied Improv

Improv skills are business skills. Has your organization found itself stuck in complacency? Have you found departments siloed and silent? Are you looking to increase your teams' resilience against burnout? The fundamentals of improvised theater are identical to skills needed for organizations to communicate effectively. From easy public speaking to trust based collaboration, a workshop can be custom tailored to address the needs of your organization. Courses range from afternoon workshops to six month part-time contracts.

MEDICAL

Doctor, it hurts when I laugh. Since 2017, I’ve taught an elective on improv to med students at Temple University’s Lewis Katz School of Medicine as a part of the Medical Humanities department. In this elective, students can expect to practice emotional intelligence and empathy through playful creativity.
