MEdical Improv - Empathy and care
Since 2017, Nick Gillette has been a pioneer in the burgeoning field of Medical Improv. His course at Temple University's Lewis Katz School of Medicine has taught dozens of medical students the importance of effective communication between caregivers and patients. By focussing on the emotional competencies required to become empathic and resilient doctors, this course covers a broad array of applied improv skills. Seven or eight weekly two hour classes. Adjunct contract per semester.
